Rain begins (short tropical showers). Moderate prices, fewer tourists. Sargassum starts arriving. Temperature: 28-33C.
Frequent rain, hurricane season (Sep-Oct). Low prices (-40%). Heavy sargassum in Jul-Aug. Temperature: 27-34C.
February and March. Sunny days, 28-29C, no rain, calm seas. Perfect for a full day at the beach.
September to November. Hotels up to 50% cheaper. November is the best option (less rain than Sep-Oct).
September and October. Virtually empty beaches. Ideal if you seek tranquility, but beware of hurricanes.
November to April. Crystal-clear beaches with no seaweed. The best period for snorkeling and turquoise waters.
